LESSONS

• Your Lesson Time: 

  • Private lessons are 60 minutes.

  • You are expected to have your horse warmed up at the start of your lesson when using your own horse. 

• Riders must be 7 years of age or older.

• Lesson Horses:​ ​​We have a 225lb weight limit for our lesson horses.

• Haul Ins: Our barn has a $10 haul in fee if you bring your own horse in. 

• Attire: ​Proper attire is required in order to participate in lessons and clinics. 

  • Clients may bring their own helmet or use one of ours; riders under the age of 18 are required to wear a helmet.

  • Closed toe shoes with a heal (ideally boots) are required.

  • Please wear full length jeans or riding pants.

• Rider Skill Level: Beginner to advanced riders are welcome.

  • Beginners

    • Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to your lesson. ​

    • Beginner lessons will focus on tacking up and grooming your horse, learning basic equine anatomy, groundwork and connecting with the horse, understanding safety around horses and of course, learning to ride!

• ​Cancellations:

  • We require 24 hours notice; failure to notify us before 24 hours before your lesson time will result in a lesson charge and no reschedule will be offered. If extenuating circumstances arise and a student must reschedule more than one lesson a month they must get approval from their instructor.​
